Compound : Focus or you will fail.

• Complex sentence থেকে compound sentence করার ক্ষেত্রে:
- Complex sentence-এর একটি clause যদি if you-দ্বারা গঠিত হয় বা if-clause হয় তাহলে নিম্নরূপে তাকে compound-এ রূপান্তরিত করতে হয়:
- Complex sentence টি যদি affirmative বা হ্যাঁ-বোধক হয় তাহলে if you clause টা তুলে দিয়ে, বাক্যে verb-এর পরে and ব্যবহার করতে হয়।
- Complex sentence-টি যদি না-বোধক বা negative হয় তাহলে if you do not তুলে দিয়ে verb এর শেষে or বসাতে হয়।

Complex: If you study, you will pass.
Compound: Study and you will pass.

Complex : If you eat a balanced diet, you will remain healthy.
Compound : Eat a balanced diet and you will remain healthy.
