- Principal clause কে আবার Main clause বা Independent clause ও বলা হয়।
- প্রদত্ত বাক্যের we will start the project next week টির সম্পূর্ণ অর্থ প্রকাশের জন্য অন্য clause টির উপরে নির্ভরশীল হতে হয় না, তাই এটি principal clause.

- এখানে, "we will start the project next week"- clause টি নিজেই সম্পূর্ণ অর্থ প্রকাশ করছে।
