♦ প্রশ্নে উল্লেখিত Sentence টি একটি 3rd Conditional sentence এর উদাহরণ।

একটি Conditional sentence এ দুটি অংশ থাকে।
1. Condition বা শর্ত  2. Consequence বা ফলাফল। 

এ ধরনের বাক্যগুলোর সাধারণ structure হলো:
• Zero Conditional = If + Present + Present (shows scientific and general truth)
• 1st Conditional = If + Present + Future
• 2nd Conditional = If + Past Simple + Future in Past (Sub + would/might/could + Base Form of the Verb)
• 3rd Conditional = If + Past Perfect (had +V3) + Perfect Modal (S + would have/could have/might have + V3)

• Third conditional এর নিয়মানুযায়ী - 
- অনেকসময় conditional-এ subordinate conjunction if এর পরিবর্তে sentence এর শুরুতে Had ব্যবহার করা যায় এবং এর পর verb এর past participle form বসে।
- Conditional sentence- এ Had + Sub + V₃ + Ext. এভাবে কোন Sentence শুরু হলে সেটিও Perfect conditional/ 3rd conditional হয়। তাই পরবর্তী clause এ would/could/might + have + V₃ + extension ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• এটি 3rd Conditional হওয়ায় পরের অংশ “I would have taken a different route” হবে।
