• উল্লিখিত অপশনগুলোর মধ্যে - She got upset when she heard the news. - এই বাক্যটিতে Linking verb রয়েছে।
- এই বাক্যে got হচ্ছে Linking verb.
- "got" in this sentence connects the subject "She" to the complement "upset" - which describes the condition.
- It does not show an action, but rather a state or appearance.

• উল্লিখিত বাকি অপশন গুলোতে looked, turned এবং appeared main verb এবং action show করছে।

• Linking verb:
- যে সকল verb সাধারণত subject ও Subjective complement এর মধ্যে যোগসূত্র স্থাপন করে তাদেরকে Linking verb বলে।
- Linking verb-এর complement হিসেবে সাধারণত adjective বসে৷
- Subject এবং subjective complement এর মধ্যবর্তী verb কে linking verb বলে৷
- অবশ্যই মনে রাখতে হবে - Linking verb হচ্ছে actionless.
- Subject + linking verb + Adjective/ Noun (Subjective complement অর্থাৎ যা Subject সম্পর্কেই কোন তথ্য দেয়।)

• Turn, be, become, look, seem, remain, appear, get, grow etc. সাধারণত Linking verb হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- কিন্তু এগুলো বাক্যে ব্যবহারে ভিন্নতার কারণে Action verb ও হতে পারে।

• Other options,
ক) Action verb: He looked at the painting for a long time.
- Linking verb: She looks tired.

খ) Action verb: He turned the page of the book.
- Linking verb: She turned pale after hearing the news.

গ) Action verb: The magician appeared on the stage suddenly.
- Linking verb: She appeared happy at the party.
