- Principal clause কে আবার Main clause বা Independent clause ও বলা হয়।
- এর সবচেয়ে বড় বৈশিষ্ট্য এই যে একে আলাদা করে লিখলেও পূর্ণ অর্থ প্রকাশ করে।

• Main (or independent) clauses can form sentences on their own. They aren’t dependent on other clauses. They are always finite (they must contain a verb that shows tense).
