 • No sooner had যুক্ত বাক্য গঠনের নিয়মাবলী:
- No sooner had + subject + 1st clause (verb এর past participle) + than + subject + 2nd clause (verb এর past form).

• Hardly had এবং Scarcely had যুক্ত বাক্য গঠনের নিয়মাবলী:
- Hardly had /Scarcely had+ subject + 1st clause (verb এর past participle) + When+ subject + 2nd clause (verb এর past form).

• As soon as যুক্ত বাক্য গঠনের নিয়মাবলী:
- as soon as এর পূর্বের অংশ past indefinite tense হলে পরের অংশও past indefinite tense হবে।

• No sooner had, Hardly had, Scarcely had এবং As soon as সবগুলোই "করতে না করতেই/ হতে না হতেই" এ রকম অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

- Hardly had থাকলে পরের অংশে when ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- Scarcely had থাকলে পরের অংশে when (than নয়) ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- As soon as থাকলে পরের অংশে শুধু কমা বসে, অন্য কোনো শব্দ ব্যবহৃত হয় না।
