• অন্যদিকে, 
ক) বাক্যে is এর স্থলে are হবে, কারণ এই বাক্যে plural noun members ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।
- সঠিক বাক্য - Nearly two-thirds of the members  are in favor of the policy.

খ) বাক্যে two thrids এবং employees হবে কারণ plura; verb are আছে।
- সঠিক বাক্য - Nearly two-thirds of the employees are working on preparing the plot.

গ) বাক্যে one thirds হবে না।
- সঠিক বাক্য - One-third of the students prefer online learning to traditional classes.
