I want only a glass of water. (Make it negative)

Correct answer: I want nothing but a glass of water.
- Only দিয়ে বস্তু বা ধারণাকে নির্দেশ করলে, Negative করতে হলে Only এর পরিবর্তে Nothing but বসে।

Transformation এর নিয়মানুযায়ী:
• Only দিয়ে ব্যক্তিকে নির্দেশ করলে, Negative করতে হলে Only এর পরিবর্তে None but বসে।
- Only John can solve this problem.
- None but John can solve this problem.

• আর Only দিয়ে বস্তু বা ধারণাকে নির্দেশ করলে, Negative করতে হলে Only এর পরিবর্তে Nothing but বসে।
- She eats only vegetables.
- She eats nothing but vegetables.

• আর Only দিয়ে বয়স/ সংখ্যা ইত্যাদি নির্দেশ করলে, Negative করতে হলে Only এর পরিবর্তে Not more than বসে।
- He is only 20 years old.
- He is not more than 20 years old.
