- হ্যামলেট জার্মানি থেকে নিজ দেশে ফিরে আসে তাঁর বাবার শেষকৃত্যে অংশগ্রহণ  করতে এবং জানতে পারে যে তার চাচা Claudius তার মা Gertrude কে বিয়ে করেছে এবং এই চাচাই তার বাবার খুনী।
