- Few, a few, many ইত্যাদি Countable noun এর পূর্বে বসে।
- Money হচ্ছে uncountable কিন্তু taka, rupy, pound ইত্যাদি Countable.

• যেহেতু, pound countable, তাই এর পূর্বে a few বসবে।
- Complete sentence: I have collected a few pounds from my travels in the foreign countries.

• Determiner:
- Determiner এর প্রধান কাজ হলো noun কে determine করা।
- Noun এর নির্দিষ্টতা-অনির্দিষ্টতা বুঝাতে এর ব্যহার হয়ে থাকে।
- এটি noun কে আংশিক বা সম্পূর্ণ ভাবে modify করলেও modify করা এটির প্রধান কাজ নয়।
