Noun clause:
- যে clause কোন sentence এ noun এর মতো কাজ করে তাকে Noun clause বলে।
- a noun clause is used when a single word isn’t enough.
- এরা সবসময় dependent clause হিসেবে থাকে।
একটি বাক্যের চারটি জায়গায় noun clause বসে থাকে। যেমন-
- subject হিসেবে
- Transitive verb এর object হিসেবে
- Linking verb এরপরে complement হিসেবে
- preposition এর পরে object হিসেবে
প্রদত্ত বাক্যে ‘what she says’ clause টি preposition ‘on’ এর পরে বসায় এটি noun clause.
