I ____ my keys yesterday, but I ____ them yet.

• I lost my keys yesterday, but I haven’t found them yet.

• প্রদত্ত sentence -টির প্রথম অংশে yesterday থাকায় past indefinite tense এবং দ্বিতীয় অংশে yet থাকায় present perfect tense অনুযায়ী verb হবে।

• Past Indefinite Tense:
- অতীত কালে কোন কাজ ঘটেছিল এবং তার ফল এখন আর বর্তমানে নেই এরূপ বোঝালে verb -এর past Indefinite Tense/simple past tense হয়।
- Yesterday, ago, long ago, since, long since, last week/month/year etc. বা অতীতকাল নির্দেশ করে এমন শব্দ হলো past indefinite tense নির্দেশক।
- অর্থাৎ, সুনির্দিষ্ট সময় উল্লেখ না থেকে যদি এই নির্দেশকগুলো থাকে, তাহলে past indefinite tense হবে।

• Structure:
- Affirmative Sentence: Subject + মূল Verb এর past form + Extension.
- Negative Sentence: Subject + did + not + মূল Verb এর base form + Extension.
- Interrogative Sentence: Did + subject + মূল Verb এর base form + Extension + ?

- Past Indefinite Tense এর suject - third person singular number হলেও verb এর সাথে s/es যোগ হয় না।
• Example: He read a fiction.

• Present Perfect Tense:
- কোন কাজ পূর্বে শুরু হয়ে বর্তমানে চলছে বুঝালে Present Perfect Tense হয়।
- কোন sentence -এ just, just now, already, yet, never, ever, lately, recently ইত্যাদি থাকলে Present Perfect Tense হয়।
- সাধারণত, হ্যা-বোধক বাক্যে already এবং না-বোধক বাক্যে yet হয়।

• Structure:
- Subject + have/has + V_{3 +} extension.
- Subject + have not/has not + V₃ + extension + yet.

• Example: I haven’t found them yet.

- সুতরাং, সঠিক sentence -টি হবে - I lost my keys yesterday, but I haven’t found them yet.
