• And যুক্ত compound sentence কে কয়েক ভাবে simple sentence এ পরিবর্তন করা যায় -

• Compound এ and দ্বারা দুটি কাজ যুক্ত থাকলে simple এর শুরুতে প্রথম verb টি + ing হয়।
• অথবা Because of + verb + ing হয়।
• আবার, By + verb + ing বসিয়েও simple sentence এ পরিণত করা যায়।

যেমন -
• Compound sentence - 'He worked hard and prospered in life.
• Simple sentence:
- Working hard, he prospered in life.
- Because of working hard, he prospered in life.
- By working hard, he prospered in life.
