- Turn, be, become, look, seem, remain, appear, get, grow etc. সাধারণত Linking verb হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

- Transitive verb এর object থাকা সত্ত্বেও যদি object পরবর্তী noun অথবা adjective (complement) এর সাহায্য ছাড়া বাক্য পূর্ণ না হয়, তখন ঐ বাক্যে ব্যবহৃত verb কে factitive verb বলে।
