• Reported speech এর অন্তর্গত second person সর্বদা Reporting verb এর object এর person অনুযায়ী পরিবর্তিত হয়।
- Reported speech এ Second person (you ও your) থাকায় Indirect Speech এ নিয়ম অনুযায়ী তা Reporting verb এর object কে অনুসরণ করায় যথাক্রমে I ও My এ রূপান্তরিত হয়েছে।

Direct: He said to me, "You have done your project."
Indirect: He said to me that I had done my project.
