He said to me, "Where have you gone?" (Change the narration)

• Direct: He said to me, "Where have you gone?"
• Indirect: He asked me where I had gone.

• Interrogative sentence -এর narration পরিবর্তন করার নিয়ম:
- প্রশ্ন করা অর্থে reporting verb "said to" -এর পরিবর্তে asked হয়।
- reported speech টি WH question দ্বারা শুরু হলে Indirect narration -এ তা অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে, অর্থাৎ WH question টিই বসবে।
- reporting verb -এর subject অনুসারে reported speech -এর subject পরিবর্তিত হবে।
- reporting speech -এ past perfect tense থাকলে reported speech -এ তা অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে।
- অর্থাৎ, reported speech -এও past perfect tense হবে।
- Direct narration -এর Interrogative sentence টি Indirect -এ Assertive sentence -এ পরিণত হবে।
