• The correct indirect form is: He asked me what I was planning for the weekend.

- প্রদত্ত sentence টি direct speech - এ interrogative sentence আছে.

• Interrogative sentence - এর speech পরিবর্তন করার ক্ষেত্রে -

- প্রথমে Reporting verb - এর subject বসে এবং Reporting verb “said” - এর পরিবর্তে asked বসবে।
- তারপর Reported speech টি যদি auxiliary verb দ্বারা শুরু হয় তাহলে Inverted comma তুলে দিয়ে linker হিসেবে if/whether বসবে।

- তবে, Reported speech টি যদি Wh word দ্বারা শুরু হয় তাহলে তা অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে। অর্থাৎ, সেই Wh - question word টিই conjunction হিসেবে বসবে।

- তারপর Reported speech - এর subject বসবে।
- Direct speech টি- present continuous tense -এ থাকলে Indirect speech - এ, তা past continuous tense -এ পরিণত হবে।
- তারপর বাকি অংশ বসবে।

• Note: Interrogative sentence টি Indirect speech - এ সবসময় assertive sentence - এ পরিণত হবে।

• Structure: Sub + ask/asked + object (যদি থাকে) + linker word + Reported speech - এর subject + verb + বাকি অংশ।

• যেমন:
Direct speech: He said to me, "What are you planning for the weekend?"
Indirect speech: He asked me what I was planning for the weekend.
