- Auxiliary verb না থাকায় Tense অনুযায়ী did বাক্যের শুরুতে did বসিয়ে Interrogative sentence করা হয়েছে।

Assertive to Interrogative করার নিয়ম:
- Assertive sentence এ auxiliary verb থাকলে, সেটি বাক্যের শুরুতে বসে। এরপর Subject বসে এবং সবশেষে প্রশ্নবোধক চিহ্ন বসে।
- Assertive sentence এ auxiliary verb না থাকলে, Subject ও Tense অনুযায়ী do, does, বা did বাক্যের শুরুতে বসে।
- Assertive sentence এ যদি negative হয়, তবে Interrogative করার সময় সেটি affirmative হয়ে যায়।
- Assertive sentence যদি affirmative হয়, তবে Interrogative করার সময় সেটি negative হয়ে যায়।
- বাক্যের শুরুতে Everybody, Everyone, All থাকলে, এর পরিবর্তে Who বসে এবং বাক্যটি negative হয়ে যায়।
- বাক্যের শুরুতে Nobody, No one, None থাকলে, এর পরিবর্তে Who বসে এবং বাক্যটি affirmative হয়ে যায়।
- বাক্যে never/no/nothing থাকলে এদের পরিবর্তে যথাক্রমে ever/any/anything বসে।

ক) Did he say nothing about the matter?
- এটি সঠিক নয় কারণ Assertive sentence এ Nothing থাকলে Interrogative করার সময় এর স্থলে anything বসে।

খ) What he said about the matter?
- Assertive sentence এ auxiliary verb না থাকলে, Subject ও Tense অনুযায়ী do, does, বা did বাক্যের শুরুতে বসে Interrogative করতে হয়। তাই এটি সঠিক নয়।

ঘ) Why he say nothing about the matter?
- Assertive sentence এ auxiliary verb না থাকলে, Subject ও Tense অনুযায়ী do, does, বা did বাক্যের শুরুতে বসে Interrogative করতে হয়। তাই এটি সঠিক নয়।
