Direct Speech: He said, "Alas! The storm has destroyed our crops."
Indirect Speech: He exclaimed with sorrow that the storm had destroyed their crops.

• Exclamatory sentence এর ক্ষেত্রে, direct speech থেকে indirect speech:
→ Direct speech দ্বারা আনন্দ বুঝালে Reporting verb পরিবর্তিত হয়ে "exclaimed/exclaimed with joy" আর দুঃখ বুঝালে "exclaimed/exclaimed with sorrow/ grief" হয়।
→ Inverted comma উঠে that বসবে।
→ reported speech এর Subject বসে।
→ Reporting verb অনুযায়ী reported speech এর verb বসবে।
→ very/great বসবে।
→ adjective বসবে।
→ বাকি অংশ (যদি থাকে)।
→ direct speech- এ our থাকলে indirect speech- এ their বসবে।
