• Subject+ verb+ object+ relative pronoun ( who/ which/ that)+ যুক্ত complex sentence কে simple করার নিয়ম-

- প্রদত্ত sentence টির প্রথম থেকে relative pronoun ( who, which, that) এর পূর্ব পর্যন্ত বসে +
- relative pronoun টি উঠে যায় +
- relative pronoun এরপরে সাহায্যকারী ক্রিয়া থাকলে উঠে যায় +
- পরে যে মূল verb থাকে সেই মূল verb এর present form এর সাথে ing যোগ করতে হয় +
- বাকী অংশ বসে।

Example:
complex: The writer lived in a cabin that belonged to the orphanage.
simple: The writer lived in a cabin belonging to the orphanage.

সুতরাং সঠিক উত্তর হবে- He gave me an expensive dress.
