Hardly had the bus stopped _________.

• বাক্যে No sooner..... scarcely had .........hardly had ....... থাকলে এর প্রথম অংশ Past Perfect এবং Verb এর Past Participle হয় এবং ২য় অংশে Past Indefinite হয়।
- মনে রাখা জরুরি, no sooner...than, scarcely..when, hardly...when এভাবে আসে। 
যেমন:
No sooner had the thief seen the police than he ran away.
Hardly had I reached the station when the train came.
Scarcely had we reached the station, when the train left.
- যেহেতু প্রশ্নে উল্লেখিত বাক্যটি hardly had দিয়ে শুরু হয়েছে তাই এরপরের অংশ when দিয়ে শুরু হবে এবং Past Indefinite tense এ হবে।
- তাই নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর - when we got down.
