• সাধারণত Tag question ব্যবহৃত হয় পূর্বে উল্লেখিত কোন উক্তি সত্য না মিথ্যা তা নিশ্চিত হওয়ার জন্য।
- Statement positive হলে tag question টা negative হবে। আবার statement negative হলে tag question positive হবে।

• Tag question এর নিয়মানুযায়ী,
• Imperative Sentence হলে Tag- এ will you বসে।
- যেমন: Open the door, will you?

• - যেহেতু প্রশ্ন প্রদত্ত বাক্যেটি imperative sentence, তাই will you বসবে।
- Complete sentence:Hand me the book, will you?

• আবার,
• Let’s বা Let us থাকলে Tag –এ shall we বসাতে হয়।
- যেমন: Let’s play football, shall we?
- যেহেতু প্রশ্ন প্রদত্ত বাক্যে -Let's আছে তাই শূন্যস্থানে shall we বসবে।
- Complete sentence: Let’s play a ludo match, shall we?
