• সাধারণত কোনো একটি তথ্য বা বক্তব্যের সত্যতা যাচাই করার উদ্দেশ্যেই মূলত বাক্যের শেষে Tag question যোগ করা হয়।
- Statement positive হলে tag question টা negative হবে।
- আবার statement negative হলে tag question positive হবে।

• Let's (বা Let us) বাদে অন্য যেকোনো Imperative Sentence-এর ক্ষেত্রে Tag Question হিসেবে সাধারণত will you বসে।
- যেমন: Give me a hand, will you?

• কিন্তু Let’s যুক্ত Imperative sentence এর Tag question এর নিয়ম:
- Let’s বা Let us থাকলে Tag- এ shall we বসাতে হয়।
- Example: Let's settle the matter now, shall we?
