Gitanjali' of Rabindranath Tagore was translated by-

• Gitanjali or Song of Offerings: 
- রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের গীতাঞ্জলীর ইংরেজি অনুবাদ হচ্ছে Song of Offerings.
- Tagore then translated it into prose poems in English as 'Gitanjali : Song Offerings' and it was published in 1912 with an preamble written by W.B. Yeats.
অর্থাৎ, এর অনুবাদের কাজটি লেখক নিজেই করেন। 
- তবে এর  Introduction বা ভূমিকা লেখেন, W.B. Yeats.

•  অতএব গীতাঞ্জলির সাথে W. B Yeats এর গভীর সম্পর্ক রয়েছে।
- তাই, W. B Yeats গীতাঞ্জলির অনুবাদ না করলেও,যেহেতু এর preface লিখেছেন এবং এর সাথে সম্পর্কিত, তাই উত্তর ক) রাখা হয়েছে।

• W.B. Yeats
- He was born in Ireland in 1865. 
- Irish Poet, Dramatist, and Prose writer.
- বিংশ শতকে অনুষ্ঠিত হওয়া সাহিত্যে জগতে আইরিশ পুনর্জাগরণের অন্যতম পথিকৃত এই লেখক। 
- প্রথম আইরিশ লেখক হিসেবে তিনি নোবেল পুরষ্কার পান ১৯২৩ সালে। 
- তিনি তার রচিত সাহিত্যকর্মে symbolism এবং  mysticism ব্যবহার করেছিলেন।
