ক- Proper Noun এর সাথে Adjective ব্যবহৃত হলে তার সাথে the বসে। বিখ্যাত গ্রন্থের আগে the বসে।
খ- Adjective দিয়ে জাতিবাচক noun বুঝালে তার পূর্বে the বসে।
গ- একজনের চেয়ে আরেকজন – এরকম না বলে ‘দুইজনের মধ্যে একজন অধিক ভালো বা মন্দ’ উল্লেখ করা থাকলে Comparative Degree এর আগে the বসে।
ঘ- society এর আগে কোন article বসে না।
