Fill in the gap: There is _____ milk in the cup.

• শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর হবে - a little.
- Complete sentence: There is a little milk in the cup.

• Uncountable noun এর সাথে little, a little, much, less...than ইত্যাদি বসে।
- Money হলো Uncountable noun.
তাই এর পূর্বে determiner হিসাবে a little বসবে।

• Little, a little এবং the little এর মাঝে পার্থক্য :
• Little- নেই বললেই চলে = Negative
- There is little water in the glass. (পানি নেই বললেই চলে)

• A little- আছে কিন্তু খুবই অল্প = Positive
- সামান্য কিছু পরিমাণ অর্থে Uncountable noun এর পূর্বে a little বসে এবং এর পরবর্তী noun ও verb উভয়ই singular হয়।
- There is a little sugar in the kitchen. (চিনি আছে কিন্তু অল্প)

• The little- অনেক নয়; কিন্তু যারা আছে সবটুকুই
- The little knowledge he has is adequate to pass the test.

 • Few/A Few/ The Few (এরা সবসময় Plural Countable Noun এর সাথে বসে)
