- The Gunpowder Plot ছিল ১৬০৫ সালে ইংল্যান্ডের রাজা James এর বিরুদ্ধে একটি হত্যা এবং সংসদ উড়িয়ে দেয়ার একটি ব্যর্থ প্রচেষ্টা।
- কারন Macbeth এর মূল Theme টি রাজার বিরুদ্ধে হত্যা ,ষড়যন্ত্র, বিদ্রোহ এবং হত্যাকারীর পতনের সাথে সংযুক্ত যাকে ‘The GunPowder Plot’ এর সাথে relate করা হয়।
- প্রচলিত বিশ্বাস অনুযায়ী King James কে Macbeth tragedy এর অন্যতম চরিত্র Banquo এর উত্তরাধিকার মনে করা হয় এবং Macbeth play তে এই Banquo এর বিরুদ্ধেই Macbeth ষড়যন্ত্র করে এবং হত্যার চেষ্টা চালায়।
