• 'Exposition' in a drama refers to -The beginning of a play.

• A plot of a drama is a combination of three parts.
i) A beginning or Exposition:
- একটি নাটকের সূচনা যা শৈল্পিকভাবে অতীত এবং বর্তমানের কিছু ঘটনাকে উপস্থাপন করে এবং পরবর্তী কী হতে চলেছে সে সম্পর্কে ইঙ্গিত দেয়।
- It builds the background of the plot, introduces the major theme or themes, and characters, locates the story in time and place, and also sets the tone of the play.

ii) Middle or Climax:
- Climax is the highest point of tension in a narrative’s plot. It’s the most exciting moment. The rising action leads up to the climax, and then ( after the climax) follows the falling action.
- অর্থাৎ, এটি হচ্ছে কোনো নাটকের বা গল্পের সর্বোচ্চ অবস্থা বা turning point যেখানে ঘটনার বৃদ্ধি শেষ হয় আর ঘটনার পতন শুরু হয়।
- Climax happens at the height of a plot.

iii) End or Denouement
- The 'Denouement' of a plot is What happens at the end.
- এটি মূলত 'The final scene' of a drama or fiction in which all the problems are resolved, all the knots are untied, and a satisfactory explanation of the consequences of the story is given.
- গল্প, নাটক ইত্যাদির বিকাশের অন্তিম স্তর, যেখানে সবকিছু স্পষ্ট হয়ে ওঠে; গ্রন্থিমোচন।

• এছাড়াও, Aristotle এর মতানুসারে একটি নাটকের গঠনকে প্রধানত পাঁচটি পর্বে বিভক্ত করা যায়।
- তাঁর মতে ড্রামাতে উপরে উল্লিখিত তিনটি পর্যায় ছাড়াও আরো দুটি পর্যায়ের উল্লেখ থাকে যথা - Rising Action এবং Falling Action.
