Tag question করার নিয়ম:
- Tag question ব্যবহার করা হয় উক্তিটি সত্য না মিথ্যা তা নিশ্চিত করার জন্য।
- Statement এ যদি can, could, must, would থাকে তাহলে ঐ verb গুলোকে tag - এ ব্যবহার করা হয়।
- Statement টি affirmative হলে , এবং তার subject হিসেবে every one, everybody, somebody (কেউ, কোনো একজন), some one- এদের যে কোনো একটি ব্যবহৃত হলে tag- এ not ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং subject হিসেবে they ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন-
- Everybody saw you, didn't they?
- Someone has stolen his pen, hasn't they?
