Either of the two candidates – এই অংশটি মানে হলো “দুই প্রার্থীর মধ্যে একজন।”
যখন either ব্যবহৃত হয়, তখন তা একজনের দিকেই ইঙ্গিত করে — অর্থাৎ এটি একটি singular subject.
তাই, verb-টাও singular হওয়া দরকার।

• "had" হলো past tense singular verb, এবং subject "either" এর সাথে ঠিকভাবে মিলে যায়।
– অর্থ দাঁড়ায়: “দুই প্রার্থীর মধ্যে যেকোনো একজনের শিক্ষকতার প্রতিভা ছিল।”

• 'Either' pronoun টি মাত্র দু'টি ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়ে যে কোন একটি কে নির্দেশ করে।
- এর পর সবসময় singular verb ব্যবহৃত হয়।

- কিন্তু, এখানে শূন্যস্থানের পরে 'talent' noun form থাকায় এর আগে is না বসে had বসবে কেননা option এ has নেই।
