বাক্যটিতে past দ্বারা বিপদ কেটে গেছে/ just gone or elapsed এমন অর্থ প্রকাশ করছে।

- So as to pass from one side of something to the other.
- Months went past and nothing happened.
- বাক্যে past শব্দটি went কে মডিফাই করছে তাই এটি একটি adverb.
