Choose the sentence that is correct.

• Correct Sentence: No sooner had I reached home than it started raining.

• No sooner had, Hardly had, Scarcely had এবং As soon as সবগুলোই 'করতে না করতেই/ হতে না হতেই' অর্থে ব্যবহার করা হয়।

• নিয়ম অনুসারে,
- No sooner had থাকলে পরের অংশে than (not then) ব্যবহার করা হয়।
- No sooner had এরপর 1st clause এর subject বসে।
- Verb এর past participle + than বসে।
- 2nd clause এর subject বসে।
- Verb এর past form করতে হবে।

• উল্লিখিত বাকি অপশনগুলো,
ক) Hardly had she left then the phone rang.
- ভুল। কারণ, Hardly had থাকলে পরের অংশে when (not than) ব্যবহার করা হয়।

গ) Scarcely had they arrived than the show began.
- ভুল। কারণ, Scarcely had থাকলে পরের অংশে when (not than) ব্যবহার করা হয়।

ঘ) As soon as he finished his work than he went out.
- ভুল। কারণ, As soon as থাকলে পরের অংশে শুধু কমা (,) ব্যবহার করা হয়।
