• Only যুক্ত Affirmative Sentence কে Negative Sentence এ রূপান্তরের নিয়ম: 
• Only এর পরিবর্তে None but বসবে।
• বাক্যের বাকী অংশ অপরিবর্তিত রয়ে যাবে।
• Affirmative: Only a guilty man should be punished.
• Negative: None but a guilty man should be punished.

• এ জাতীয় আরোও একটি উদাহরণ হচ্ছে -
• Affirmative:  Only they can do the work.
• Negative: None but they can do the work.
