Choose the indirect narration: He said to me, "Let us go for a picnic."

• Direct: He said to me, "Let us go for a picnic."
• Indirect: He suggested that we should go for a picnic.

• Let দ্বারা শুরু imperative sentence -এর narration পরিবর্তন করার নিয়ম:
- Let us দিয়ে শুরু হয়ে যখন কোনো proposal/suggestion (প্রস্তাব) বোঝায় তখন reporting verb টি পরিবর্তিত হয়ে propose/suggest হয়।
- Inverted comma উঠে গিয়ে linker হিসেবে that বসে।
- পুনরায় subject হিসেবে they/we বসে।
- তারপর বাক্যে finite verb -এর আগে Modal auxiliary 'should' ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- তারপর reported speech -এর মূল verb থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত বসে।

• Note: প্রস্তাবের ক্ষেত্রে Reporting verb -এর subject বা object টি first person হলে we এবং অন্যান্য ক্ষেত্রে they বসে।
- তবে suggest -এর ক্ষেত্রে suggest +gerund ব্যব্যহার করা যায়।

• More Example:
- Direct: He said to me, "Let us go home."
- Indirect: He proposed to me that we should go home.
