Change the speech: He told me to open the window.

- Direct: He said to me, "Open the window."
- Indirect: He told me to open the window.

• Imperative sentence-এর Direct speech করতে হলে told/ requested/ ordered/ commanded এর জায়গায় said to বসে।
- told me থাকলে said to হয়।
- এবং indirect speech এর 'to' উঠে যায়৷
- Inverted comma " " -এর মধ্যে Imperative sentence টি বসে।

- তাই নিয়মানুযায়ী, Direct specch টি হবে- He said to me, "Open the window."
