- They said, "We had finished the work."
- মূল বাক্য past perfect tense এ আছে।
- Reported speech এ tense অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।
- “Had finished” অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।
- বাক্যটি সম্পন্ন কাজ বোঝায়।
- তাই সঠিক উত্তর হলো “They said that they had finished the work.”

Other options:
ক) They said that they finished the work.
- Past Indefinite হয়েছে, অথচ মূল বাক্য ছিল Past Perfect.

গ) They said that they have finished the work.
- "have finished" Present Perfect, যা এখানে ভুল।

ঘ) They said that they had finish the work.
- "had finish" ভুল -"had + past participle (finished)" হওয়া উচিত।
