- মূল বাক্য আদেশ বা অনুরোধ নির্দেশ করে।
- Reported speech এ “tell/told + object + to + verb” formব্যবহার হয়।
- “Your books” পরিবর্তিত হয়ে “their books” হয় কারণ subject পরিবর্তিত হয়েছে।
- “Said” এর পরিবর্তে “told” ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে কারণ সরাসরি নির্দেশনা।
- indirect speech: “The teacher told them to open their books.”

• Other options:
ক) The teacher said to open your books.
- "said" এর পরে অবজেক্ট (যাকে বলা হয়েছে) নেই, এবং "your" অপরিবর্তিত রয়ে গেছে।

খ) The teacher asked open your books.
- সঠিক গঠন মেনে হয় নি।

ঘ) The teacher told to opened their books.
- "to opened" ভুল – সঠিকভাবে infinitive হয় "to open".
