Ashmani said to me 'Let us go out for a walk'. (Make it indirect)

Direct Speech: Ashmani said to me, "Let us go out for a walk."
Indirect Speech: Ashmani proposed to me that we should go out for a walk.

• Direct speech এ Let এর পরে us থাকলে দুইভাবে Indirect speech এ পরিবর্তন করা যায়,

• Structure 1: Subject + propose/suggest + that + they/we + should = reported speech এর মূল verb থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত।
→ reporting verb এর subject, third person হলে that এর পর we বসে এবং Subject, first person হলে that এরপর they বসে।

Example:
→ Direct Speech: Abir said, "Let us go out for a walk."
→ Indirect Speech: Abir proposed to me that we should go for a walk.

• Structure 2: Subject + propose/suggest + object + gerund (reported speech এর main verb এর সাথে ing) + বাকি অংশ।
Example:
→ Direct Speech: Abir said, "Let us go out for a walk."
→ Indirect Speech: Abir suggested going out for a walk.
