Complex to Compound: 
• Complex sentence এর একটি clause এর আগে যদি as থাকলে Compound sentence এ পরিণত করার নিয়ম: 
- As তুলে দিতে হবে + 
- As এর পরবর্তী clause টি লিখতে হবে + 
- and বসবে + 
- শেষে অপর clause- টি বসবে। 

Examples: 
Complex: As I climbed up the hill, I saw many interesting sights.
Compound: I climbed up the hill and I saw many interesting sights.

Complex: As he was ill, he could not attend the meeting. 
Compound: He was ill and he could not attend the meeting.
