Akash said to me "Are you reading now?" (Make it indirect)

•  Interrogative sentence কে direct থেকে indirect Narration- এ পরিবর্তন করার নিয়ম:

- Reporting verb টি ask, demand of, enquire of, want to know, wonder এ পরিবর্তন হয়।
- Reported speech টি যদি auxiliary verb দ্বারা শুরু হয় তাহলে linker হিসেবে if/ whether বসবে।
- Reported speech এর অন্তর্গত interrogative sentence টি WH-question word দ্বারা শুরু হয়, তাহলে তা অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে অর্থাৎ সেই WH-question word টিই বসবে।
- Direct speech এর interrogative sentence টি indirect- এ Assertive sentences- এ পরিবর্তিত হয়।

• প্রশ্ন প্রদত্ত বাক্যটি Auxiliary verb দ্বারা শুরু হয়েছে তাই এর পরিবর্তে if/whether বসবে।
- said to এর পরিবর্তে asked বসবে।
- উক্ত বাক্যে reported verb টি present continuous tense এ আছে, তাই, indirect speech এ reported verb টি past continuous tense হবে।
- Direct এ now থাকলে indirect এ তা then এ পরিণত করতে হবে।

• নিয়মানুযায়ী, 
- Direct: Akash said to me "Are you reading now?"
- Indirect: Akash asked me whether I was reading then.
