• A part of a longer story or a larger sequence is called - Episode.
- অর্থাৎ, একটি দীর্ঘ গল্প বা নাটক ইত্যাদির ছোট ছোট পর্ব গুলোই episode হিসাবে পরিচিত।
- সম্পূর্ণ গল্পটি পর্বে বিভিক্ত করে ধারাবাহিক ভাবে দেখানো হয়।
- Though an episode appears complete in itself, it leaves behind some clues on which the next episode is developed.
- An episode contributes to the total design of the story.

• Example - In Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice", the part that narrates Lydia's elopement and its impact on the Bennet family is an episode.

অন্যদিকে,
• Couplet:
- A couplet refers to two lines of verse rhyming together.
- বাংলা অর্থ: দ্বিপদী; শ্লোক; কবিতার অন্ত্যমিল বিশিষ্ট ও সমান মাপের দুটি চরণ।

• Stanza:
- A smaller unit or shorter division of poem.
- Stanza এর অর্থ হচ্ছে - স্তবক; কবিতার পঙ্‌ক্তিগুচ্ছ, যার নির্দিষ্ট বিভাগ কবিতার বিশিষ্ট আঙ্গিক নির্মাণ করে।
- It is a smaller unit of the structure of a poem.

• Diction:
- The selection of words in writing or speech.
- A particular writer chooses a particular type of words and phrases অর্থাৎ প্রতিটি লেখকের নিজস্ব বা বিশেষ শব্দচয়ন রয়েছে।
