A narrative poem that tells a story through dialogue and action is called - Ballad.

Balad এর কিছু উল্লেখযোগ্য features রয়েছে।
যেমন: 
- It is narrative in form and tells a story. 
- এই ধরণের কবিতায় narrator সাধারণত impersonal third person এবং dialogue and action এর মাধ্যমে story বলা হয়।
- এটি dramatically গল্পের মাঝে open হয়।
- Traditionally it deals with rural Labourers or love or legends or supernatural elements or tragic events.
