⇒ Quantity of cheaper : Quantity of Dearer = (CP of of Dearer - Mean Price) : (Mean Price - CP of Cheaper)⇒ Quantity of cheaper : Quantity of Dearer = (18 - 14) : ( 14 - 8) = 4 : 6 = 2 : 3∴ Quantity of suger sold at 18% profit = (3/5) × 1000= 600 Kg
