- এটি মূলত সাহিত্যের একটি ধারা এবং কমেডির ধরন যা দর্শকদের বিনোদন দেওয়ার লক্ষ্যে অত্যন্ত অতিরঞ্জিত এবং মজার পরিস্থিতি ব্যবহার করে উপস্থাপন করা হয়।
- Farce is also a subcategory of dramatic comedy, যেটি কমেডির অন্যান্য রূপ থেকে আলাদা কারণ এটির লক্ষ্য শুধুমাত্র দর্শকদের হাসানো।

- Major division of a long poem or an epic.
