A comedy which portrays the ridiculous behaviour pattern of the individuals of an aristocratic society is called Comedy of Manners. It traditionally focuses on the infidelity, intrigue, immorality, jealousy, coarseness etc. of an artificial society.
The Way of the World by Congreve and The School for Scandal by Sheridan are examples of it.
