Ratio of initial investment of A, B and C = 1/2 : 1/3 : 1/4 = 6 : 4 : 3

Let A’s initial investment is = 6x
Let B’s initial investment is = 4x
Let C’s initial investment is = 3x

∴ A : B : C = (6x × 2 + 3x × 10) : (4x × 12) : (3x × 12)
⇒ (42x) : (48x) : (36x)
⇒ 42 : 48 : 36
⇒ 7 : 8 : 6

∴ B’s share in the profit = 378 × (8/21)
